About Julie
I have been a Trainer with Pioneer since 2016, teaching and offering support to retailers throughout the United Kingdom and Europe both face to face and virtually. Prior to working for Pioneer I have worked in retail stores as a Retail and Area Manager since the age of 21 this is where I developed my passion for balloons working with the Qualatex Balloon Boutique department for Hallmark Cards.
The thing I enjoy the most about my job is helping people to develop, I get a huge thrill out of helping somebody who has a fear of balloons overcome the fear and eventually enjoy working with balloons. I love to see people’s faces when they have created a beautiful bouquet and are really proud of themselves.
Developing my own skills is ongoing, there is always something new to learn and I love the creativity within the balloon world with new techniques being developed and adapted to the market constantly, I have the great privilege of working with so many talented and creative people so every day is a learning day! The last few months have been amazing travelling up and down the country doing the Qualatex Bubble Tour with the lovely Lucy Hennessy and meeting lots of amazing talented people. How could I not love my job!
