About Avital & Nir
We are Avital & Nir Shechter from Israel. We are husband and wife. Our business, Nir Balloons, was established in 1998 and specializes in balloon decor for corporate and private events, balloon twisting, and balloon shows. We are both Certified Balloon Artists, international instructors and have won many balloon competitions. We were instructors in WBC 2018, Mexico Tour 2020, Q corner Convention 2020, Q Corner Convention 2021, BACI 2022 and many Israeli balloon conventions.
Top Three Tips
- Use only the best bases, poles, and other framing materials for your balloon décor. Strong and stable bases bring perfect results. Even the most precise balloon sizes in a decor wouldn`t bring the best look without the correct bases. The shape of the décor affects its total look and is created by the bases and poles you choose.
- Good color combination can change the way design looks from being nice to being AMAZING. Take your time to explore the right colors for your design, especially if you use double-stuffed balloons. We usually use 5" balloons to play with different color combinations until we find the perfect color match. You can also use computer simulations. We recommend on using the great tools in Chris Adamo`s website: Balloonpro.co. It is very practical and easy to use.
- Always write down the sizes of a new design you create for the first time. It will save you a lot of time when you`ll need to recreate it and will assure your clients to get the exact design they requested when they ordered this specific design. Create Your design recipes folder in your computer (or have a notebook) and update it from time to time when necessary. In this way, your bestseller designs will be upgraded and more perfect within time.
